Obra: Insuficiente

La obra de Octavi Serra, Insuficiente, nos habla de forma directa y explícita, jugando tipográficamente. El fin, representar la codicia y la insatisfacción constante hacia a las circunstancias de cada momento. Esta sensación de no estar nunca completamente satisfecho a pesar de que la razón nos argumente que se tendría que estar.

El artista

El trabajo del artista, diseñador y fotógrafo gerundense Octavi Serra se centra en capturar las ironías y las frustraciones de la vida moderna. Las ilusiones ópticas y los productos de desecho se presentan en espacios públicos y luego se fotografían como parte de una atractiva serie filosófica.El trabajo del artista español es un signo de nuestros tiempos y una reacción a la insatisfacción con el panorama social actual. Serra construye instalaciones conceptuales que se burlan de la cultura actual y cuestionan con mucha seriedad el status quo: cada imagen retrata un mensaje sobre algún tipo de problema sociopolítico. Ya sea vigilancia, avaricia, corrupción, destrucción ambiental, egoísmo, tecnología… no queda piedra sin remover.
