Articula’t it’s a project from CONTORNO URBANO with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya and in colaboration with other non-profits organizations.

The project works with diferent colectives like youngsters or elder people through art and graffiti workshops.

In the neighborhood of Bellvitge we work in a communitary project with the neighbours association and the High School Bellvitge. This project mean to celebrate the 5oth aniversary of the neighborhood and talk about the unique character of this area. This residential neighborhood it’s historically speaking one of the focus on the neighbours rights and it’s been always a model in the fight for better conditions for his habitants in the Barcelona area.

In the Torras i Bages High School , we develope an art program with 20 teenagers. During the program ( implementated in the year’s classes ) the students learns about muralism through history of arts , guide visits and practical lessons. Some reputated artist come to paint in the High School with them. The students painted a communitary wall with the parents and other students and later each one painted his own mural.

Our group in the project also participated with other groups of teenagers to exchange knoledge and colaborate with them. The teenagers from the Medical Center of Mental illness Benito Menni and the Fundation El Llindar were the projects selected. Each one has a group of teenagers and our group acted as teachers and colaborators for painting diferents murals.

In the 40th aniversary of the club Sanfeliu – Sant Ildefons ( two neighborhoods of the city ) the artist Mireia Ruiz and Raúl Ramos work with the teenagers of the club and desing a mural for the entrance of the club. The day of the celebration all the neighbours can paint in the comunitary wall and participate in the process.
