L’obra: Travellerz

L’obra representa un món en el qual les lleis de la ciència tal com la coneixem no han existit mai. Un món regnat per la màgia i la imaginació, on la realitat es barreja amb el somni, on hi ha criatures oníriques i psicodèliques. En aquest món que balla entre la utopia i la distopia, els animals es barregen amb tecnologies arcaiques i els éssers es dediquen a vagabundejar en llocs propers a alguna cosa que, potser, tampoc existeix.

L’artista: El Rughi

El Rughi neix en una petita ciutat al sud d’Itàlia, Martina Franca. Comença a interactuar pictoricament amb el seu entorn urbà des de petit per matar l’avorriment que ho persegueix des de sempre. Viatja per Italia, Espanya i Alemanya experimentant amb tècniques i formes fins a trobar el seu propi estil. Així, barreja el grafit clàssic, la il·lustració infantil, el tatuatge i el llenguatge del còmic. Actualment viu entre Londres, Barcelona i Itàlia i, a part de pintar murs, es dedica al tatuatge, a la serigrafia i a la autoproducció de fanzines sobre street-art, il·lustració i còmic underground.
