L’obra

Aquest mes de novembre presideix el mur l’art realista de Lily Brik. En paraules de l’artista, el mural se situa “en una zona transitada de gent que va i ve, amb presses, preocupada, en constant moviment i amb poc temps per dedicar-ho a cadascú”. Per això mateix ha decidit que la seva obra convidi “a la reflexió del descans, del respecte cap a un mateix i de procurar buscar un moment de solitud i pau per llegir o gaudir de la intimitat, un ben escàs i necessari”.

L’artista: Lily Brik

Nascuda a Lleida, ha participat en nombrosos festivals i esdeveniments en diverses ciutats i representa a una nova generació d’artistes que tenen molt a dir. Lily Brik diu de si mateixa: “No puc definir-me com a dissenyadora, artista o grafitera. Em considero creativa i gaudeixo amb tot tipus d’expressió gràfica. La majoria de la gent sol pintar durant la seva infància, però a mesura que creixem, sovint ho oblidem, però en el meu cas vaig tenir l’oportunitat que sempre quedés en la meva ment. La pintura sempre ha estat la meva forma favorita d’expressar-me, la meva forma d’explicar el que no podia dir amb paraules”.
